Bag Restrictions

Your safety is our priority and we’ve put in place all necessary measures to maximise public safety, working closely with local authorities at the highest level. We ask that you also play a part in keeping Leeds Festival safe and secure, so please take note of our messages below, pack accordingly and stay strong together.

All festival-goers will be subject to extra searches of their vehicles, bags and their person. Please be patient if there are longer queues than normal. We request that you cooperate with any security requests and searches. Please pack light!

Bag-Restrictions-2019

CCTV recording is in operation throughout the festival site for public safety and crime prevention.

We strongly advise you do not bring a bag into the Arena as there will be long queues while all bags are searched. If you do wish to bring a bag into the Arena please ensure that it is no bigger than A4 sized 8.27”x11.69”. There is a limited to one A4 sized bag per person permitted into the Arena.

Campsite Recycling Champions

Thanks so much to everyone who took their tent home and used the zero-waste recycling system last year. Our Green Team will be handing out clear bags around the campsites and they’re also available to grab at the recycling points. Help keep Leeds Festival clean and be in with a chance to win prizes!

GOLD – Bring back a bag of recycling AND general waste and you could win tickets for next year.

SILVER – Bring back a bag or recycling OR general waste and you could win merch.

BRONZE – Bring back broken tents/camping equipment or unopened tins of food and you could win Co-op vouchers to use offsite.
