Late night at Leeds Festival 2023
If you’ve been to Leeds Festival before, you know the drill. First-timers, here’s the low down on after dark programming to keep you entertained until the early hours…
Ok, so we can’t talk about late night without mentioning our HUGE silent disco announcement. In case you somehow missed it, we’re hosting the WORLD’S BIGGEST silent disco on Sunday night over at Main Stage West. We’re splitting DnB heroes Sigma in two, sending one to Reading to play the first ever (!!) simultaneous R&L set. It’s gonna be the biggest, but quietest, rave we’ve ever seen.
If you’ve been to Leeds before, you’ll be familiar with the iconic LS23 stage, nestled in the trees in the middle of the campsites and surrounded by eurphoric lighting. This year we’re bringing a whole new level of production to the area, which will host sets from female-only DJ collective Girls Don’t Sync, aussie house producer Dom Dolla, the legendary Andy C, Sammy Virji, and loads more.
Possibly the most underrated late night stage, Anachronica is BACK for 2023. Find it in the campsites and step into a Mad Max-esque world, skillfully engineered from recycled materials, everyday objects discarded from previous generations, salvaged and adapted to blast out some of the biggest tunes late into the night. This year’s line up includes BP, Bakey, Dr Dubplate, Silver Bumpa to name a few. Search ‘Anachronica Leeds’ on TikTok to see the vibe.
This year’s Piccadilly Party line up is yet to be an announced, but we know it’s the heart of Leeds nightlife for a lot of you, so make sure to check back for names before you finalise your festival schedule.
Returning to smash after-hours on the Alternative Stage at Reading & Leeds for another unmissable year that has seen first and exclusive appearances at the festival from the likes of Disclosure, London Grammar, Squid, Kojey Radical, Loyle Carner, Two Door Cinema Club, Fat White Family, Metronomy, Kelis, Mike Skinner (The Streets), and many more, celebrated music company Transgressive – home to the likes of Foals, Arlo Parks, Loyle Carner and HotWax, all of whom will perform at this year’s festival – curate and present another massive, exclusive line-up to ensure that the party continues long after the headliners finish.
The party doesn’t end at the stages. We’ve got DJs situated in 4 of the campsites to keep the after-party going. Keep an eye out for the schedule to see who’s playing when in your campsite, the line-up includes the below collectives:
Future focused Drum & Bass label In The Lab;
Sheffield based multi genre record label and event company YT Records;
The UK’s leading ladies only rave collective Sexy Lady Massive;
Bristol based drum and bass/jungle events producers 404 Riddem;
Manchester based Record Label specialising in an upbeat rolling Deep Tech/Minimal sound Rendr Records.
We can’t wait to party with you all in August & hope you have the best weekend. Remember to stay safe & Look Out For Each Other.
