5 reasons we’re hyped to see Sigrid

Sigrid might have only released one EP as we type this, ‘Don’t Kill My Vibe’ but the singer has been creating a buzz around the world for months. She had the whole tent jumping at Reading and Leeds 2017 and we’re ready to see what she brings this year.

Here are 5 reasons we’re hyped to see Sigrid.

1. She sold out shows before even releasing an album

Sigrid might have only released 13 minutes worth of songs… so far. But that doesn’t stop her selling out shows all over the world. From Australia where she got very attached to a Koala…

To all over the UK!

2. She’s releasing new music tonight

Ok, the first point doesn’t really stand for long but we’re adding it in here anyway. After teasing a blurred out image on her social media accounts, it looks like the Norwegian singer is dropping another EP tonight at 9pm, talk about turning UP that vibe.

UPDATE

‘Raw’ is here and in true Sigrid style, you’re going to want to listen to it repeatedly.

3. Her dad dancing

You know you need to see an artist live when they have dance moves you can recreate in the campsites at the end of the night.

4. ‘Strangers’ is one of the biggest bangers

‘Strangers’ has been one of the biggest songs of the year so far and it’s clear why. The video, which sees Sigrid dancing around everything from living and dining rooms to open spaces decorated with huge rocks, has already racked up over 20 millions views on YouTube and gone Platinum in the UK.

5. She totally owned it at Reading and Leeds 2017

Hyping up the crowds on the BBC Radio 1 Dance Stage last year, Sigrid’s vocals were totally hypnotising. Her addictive pop punch and energy is too much for anyone to resist not dancing to.

Sigrid returns to the Reading and Leeds’ stages again this year to do what she does best – singing killer hooks and turning the energy levels up to 100.
