Formed in 2014 and now signed to legendary Roadrunner records; the band have shot to fame and are influenced by goth punk bands such as AFI, Alkaline Trio and My Chemical Romance.
Will Gould’s almost operatic lead vocals twinned with Hannah Greenwood’s supporting him give that extra layer of angst and power. Hannah later demonstrated her quality vocal cords on more acoustic track ‘Crickets’ as well as her pianist skills throughout the set.
‘Misery’ and ‘Down Below’ were real crackers with their cascading choruses pleasing the fans flocking to the front to see them. The group opened with a resounding rendition of ‘Suzanne’ as frontman Will owned the stage from the off, later demanding circle pits of the braver fans.
Having won Kerrang! And Metal Hammer Golden Gods awards (among others) in 2016, it’s a natural progression for them to now be rocking the Main Stage at Leeds, having fulfilled their much-hyped early potential.
