In the 25 years since their inception, they have never lost that energy and enthusiasm so pivotal to their live shows and sound. Today’s performance was another raucous riot!

Benjamin Kowalewicz’s vocals were, as ever, so distinctive. They really spearhead their unmistakable sound — one fans have come to adore on a global scale.

Ian D’Sa once again demonstrated his impressive shredding abilities across a number of tightly-executed solos on lead guitar, as well as essential backing vocals along with bassist Jonathan Gallant.

Donning their familiar black and red colour scheme, the band opened with the catchy classic ‘Devil In A Midnight Mass’ and went from strength to strength. Highlights included wonderful crowd participation during ‘Devil On My Shoulder’, with the crowd screaming back ‘over and over’ with gusto as they jumped up and down like yo-yos. Crowd pleaser ‘Red Flag’ was another hit on their setlist — and an actual red flag was suitably waving in the breeze!

Overall, another stellar performance that further cements Billy Talent’s name in the history books.
