To kick things off we’re counting down 10 of the essential rock tracks from R&L 19 to keep you rocking out this summer.
10. Foo Fighters – The Pretender
Any essential rock track list wouldn’t be complete without a song from the rock titans Foo Fighters. ‘The Pretender’ is a classic that our grandchildren will probably still be singing along to!
9. Twenty One Pilots – Jumpsuit
Obviously, the duo of Twenty One Pilots after taking over the Main Stage in 2019. ‘Jumpsuit’ is probably their heaviest song yet and will always have us headbanging!
8. The 1975 – People
The 1975 definitely turned a few heads when they opened ‘People’ at Leeds 2019. Far from their usual style, ‘People’ shows that the boys have some pretty incredible musical range.
7. Royal Blood – Little Monster
The second duo to make an appearance here, Little Monster went off like a rocket at R&L19. It’s crazy how much noise Royal Blood can make with just two people!
6. The Wombats – Let’s Dance to Joy Division
Indie rock icons The Wombats are no strangers to R&L with this classic tune blessing the main stage in 2019, as well as a number of different stages over the years.
5. A Day To Remember – All I Want
Florida boys A Day To Remember have mastered a blend of pop-punk and metalcore. ‘All I Want’ and it’s cameo stacked video showing off their unmatched pop-punk skills.

Speaking of pop-punk hears one of the sub-genres most iconic songs from one of it’s most long serving and iconic bands Bowling For Soup.
3. Enter Shikari – The Last Garrison
Picking just one Shikari song is almost as hard as defining their genre. ‘The Last Garrison’ is another one that has been blasted out at R&L plenty of times and we love it!
2. Twin Atlantic – Heart and Soul
We’re sure everyone knows the words to this chorus! An absolute tune from Scotland’s finest Twin Atlantic.
