“I’m everything you’ve heard before, and nothing you’ve ever heard before…”

J Hus is one of the hottest propositions in British music today. In 2015, his first ever mixtape 15th Day all but created a new genre and he was quickly crowned king of the scene, amassing millions of plays on YouTube and Soundcloud with singles such as ‘Dem Boy Paigon’ and ‘No Lie’. His nomination for ‘Best Newcomer’ at the 2015 MOBO Awards along with his inclusion on the prestigious long-list for the 2016 BBC Sound Poll are both prime examples of the recognition Hus has received right from the beginning of his career.

The accomplishments wouldn’t stop there as ‘Common Sense’ would be nominated for the prestigious 2017 Mercury Prize. J Hus would additionally be nominated for a whopping four MOBO awards & three Brit awards. If this wasn’t enough Hus would be handed several honours including ‘Best Album’ & ‘Best Track’ (Did You See) at the GRM Rated Awards; ‘Best Song’ at the 2017 MOBO Awards as well as being awarded ‘Best Album of 2017’ by Link Up TV – all whilst selling out his UK tour (including a sold out show at the o2 Brixton Academy) and rounding off with a European tour at the end of last year.

If 2017 is anything to go by then J Hus is set for an even bigger year ahead and with him already kicking off this year by receiving ‘Best Album’ at the NME awards – J Hus is set to continue setting the industry alight with some major plans in store for the future!
