Chinese Lanterns are banned
Please don't bring them on site.
We have taken the decision to ban chinese lanterns from Reading Festival.These will be confiscated if found during the search when you arrive.
Please also note the following also won't be allowed into the festival at all:
o Glass – no glass is allowed onsite for safety reasons
o Gas canisters, Petrol cookers/burners [this includes nitrous oxide, or similar, capsules]
o Aerosols over 250ml
o Illegal substances
o Lighter fuel
o Portable Laser Equipment and Pens
o Unauthorised Professional Film or Video Equipment
o Audio Recorders
o Air Horns
o Spray Cans
o Fireworks
o Flares
o Any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon (pen knives etc)
All items will be confiscated.
Then once in the campsite, you won't be allowed to bring the following into the arena:
o Cans, alcohol, opened plastic bottles, drinks bottles.
o Bottles of drink over 500ml in size.
o Flags
Only sealed plastic bottles of water 500ml or under and sealed cartons of juice will be permitted into the arena.
