Often described as somewhere between Mudhoney and The Libertines, Tribes deliver anthemic indie-grunge with a distinctive edge that they have appropriately nicknamed ‘boom-gnarly’. Since forming in 2010, they have enjoyed support from Zane Lowe, been nominated for ‘Best New Band’ at the NME Awards and even been called “the future of rock n’ roll” no less by The Mystery Jets. Now, despite having only released their debut album last year and scoring a Top 20 hit with it, the band are poised to attract even more plaudits when they release its follow up in May. Nothing can stop them now.
